Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium: Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium or The Indira Gandhi Arena, is located at the Indraprastha Estate in the eastern region of New Delhi. It is the largest air-conditioned indoor sports arena in India and the 3rd largest in Asia. It covers a land area of 110 acres, with a seating capacity of 15000 fixed seats.
Named after India’s former Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi, the stadium has hosted sports such as gymnastics, cycling and wrestling. Ever since its establishment, the stadium has been repeatedly renovated and it is now complete with soundproof synthetic walls and state of the art audio and lighting systems.
